What is Kinesiology Tape?

Kinesiology tape is specially designed and made with breathable and stretchable cotton fabric coated with wavy acrylic adhesive. It is water resistant and can be worn for upto 3 days.

How does kinesiology tape work?

Kinesiology tape is stretchable in the LONG direction, which creates a bio-mechanical lifting mechanism that lifts the skin away from the soft tissue underneath and allows more blood flow to move into the weak or injured area to accelerate healing and recovery.

How to apply Kinesiology Tape?

1. Apply 30 minutes before beginning activity.
2. Apply on clean dry skin.
3. For best results, round the corners for better adhesion.
4. Apply 2-3” of the tape with NO STRETCH to the skin to anchor the tape.
5. Never Stretch the ENDS of the Tape – only the middle.
6. Apply directly to the skin when possible, especially the ends.
7. For Best Results after applying, activate the adhesive by rubbing vigorously.
8. Gently remove the tape from the skin, and use baby oil if necessary.
9. Kinesiology Tape can be worn for up to 3 days and is water-resistant.
